Peace, quiet, and pigs...

So today is Monday and the first real day of the DNC.  I have to say that I didn't notice a thing different other than a sign on Speer reading, Expect delays on Speer. Alt route advised."  Needless to say, the traffic on Speer was just fine and dandy.

Plans for operation "My favorite banana peel" are still in the works, so nothing was installed at the DNC today.  I did however work on my piggy bank mold project and made a complete and utter disaster zone out of my kitchen.  Plaster of Paris is quite unkind. I have included a picture of my plaster piggy mold.

For now, as part of the blogging project, I will explain my meaning behind the graphic I have created as the logo of this blog.  Of course it is a rally of people and I believe the redness of the graphic portrays some of their anger.  The title reads "Reaction to Reaction."  The title is slightly off and the second "reaction" is hard to read. This is to demonstrate how misconstrued reactions can be. A reaction is an emotional response to a specific event. To the individual in question, the reaction can make perfect sense.  For example, a group of protesters at the convention.  To bystanders, such a reaction may be viewed completely different (i.e. the police).  Thus, that is the meaning behind the graphic.
